Madrid, 4-6 May 2006

Isabelle and I met in Madrid for a few days. Her husband Wolfgang was there for business and we were there for shopping when it was raining and sight-seeing on the Saturday. A very enjoyable three day gathering. See also the flickr set (12 photos).

Iglesia Parroquial de San Manuel Y San Benito, orden de San Agustin. The church is not on the map. I noticed it from the taxi on the way from the airport. The outside and inside were beautiful.

Isabelle is annoyed; her blackberry just stopped working.

After a very rainy to mildly rainy day, the sun makes an appearance. I had to stop midway while crossing the street to take a photo.

Sun!

It's sangria o'clock. Isabelle is beaming in front of her glass.

So we were hungry and ordered ham, mushroom, chorizo and cheese. We were on our way to ordering bell peppers when the waiter left. When he brought us the food, we were glad he thought we were done ordering earlier. (Yes, we ate it all. Yes, it took time).
