Edinburgh, 18-23 May 2006

My job took me to Edinburgh for 5 days. We held a W3C meeting there.

I studied English in a college in Edinburgh in 1996. I was delighted to have to organise a meeting there. I love that city.

I travelled there last October (koalie.net album (70 photos) and flickr set (11 photos)) to look for venues. We estimated an attendance of 130 people; we had 129 ;)

See also the flickr set (24 photos).

From room 276 at Radisson SAS on the Royal Mile, we had a view on rooftops, and the city that lied between High Street and Arthur's Seat.

On our way to Grassmarket (pub-hunting, I confess), I found this view remarkable. The colour of the castle against the blue of the dusk sky caught my eyes.

There's nothing to graze where they left this poor cow.
